GMRT Antennas Pointing


This is an effort to understand and fix problems with the pointing of GMRT antennas so that we can improve the astronomical image quality and identify the problems in future for a quick solution. Both the astronomers and engineers are involved in this and are doing their best - with this effort, we hope to combine the efforts and understanding especially using the four years of pointing data that is available here . This file is just to give the appropriate links to the meetings/updates/efforts/work on this for quick access to the group + record till we move it to a general website.

    2. The first meeting on ths same was held on 21 May 2015 where various members from the mechanical, servo, operations groups and academics participated. Summaries are here and here .
