##### LTAFILE : node51:/data2/gpuuser/gpu-gab_lo1350_rf1280_lsb_28aug2013.lta ##### Settings: Observe date 28 AUG 2013 OBJECT 3C147 and 3C286 RF 1350 MHz LO1 1420 MHz Band = flipped (GUI), meaning LO1 > RF (or LSB) No. of Channels 2048 Channel-width 97.66 kHz ##### Note from Dharam: Attached are two files, - gsb-FilterGPU-OLDgpu-phase.jpg (showing amplitude as a function of time) - gsb-FilterGPU-OLDgpu-phase.jpg (showing phase as a function of time) Re. the former, two files, the three panels in each of these are, (i) GSB (Data acquired on 28 Aug, left-panel), (ii) GPU+GAB with Filter (Data acquired on 28 Aug, middle), and (iii) GPU+GAB without Filter (Data acquired on 20 Aug, right-panel). Left two panel plots are simultaneous data. The setting for L-band, - 1280 MHz (channel=0) and 1080 MHz (Channel=2048) for the GPU, and - 1261 MHz (Channel=0) and 1261 plus 33 MHz (Channel=512) for the GSB. Target being 3C147 in the beginning and 3c286 in the end. The little dip around 13.8 hrs is because the source 3C147 had set and we missed attending this. The ratio of cross-correlation coefficients is proportional to the ratio of their flux densities. Although there are a few issues, which need attention (e.g., several phase wraps as a function of channel/freq. on some baselines and this depends on baseline lengths, etc.), the stability, cross-correlation coefficient outputs are indeed encouraging!
